SO! **IMO** on the micro-level: talk to kids about this stuff and be honest about your feelings and concerns. And on the macro-level: challenge the incentives—the algorithms and the platformers. which is what I think @_elena is attempting to do!

It was apparently first proposed by Increase Mather, whose brother, Cotton Mather, had something to do with the Salem Witch Trials. It languished for a while before John Darby promoted it in the 1800s.

@tomasino @Tutanota Well done. Proton is complete garbage in my opinion, and I feel they can't be trusted with your personal data. I was using their VPN for a while and out of nowhere, I started getting very specific targeted ads. I can't prove it, but I think the VPN client logs and sends your browing history to all sort of third parties.
