Is there interest in starting up a new server? I am incentivized to provide something for this niche (or perhaps not-so-niche) part of the fediverse.
It would be a forum. Running NodeBB. Not Mastodon.
As I understand it, the med-mastodon server shut down without warning. I don't know any other way to reach those users. Please boost for visibility đ

I would like to try out NodeBB as time permits! What would the server be about? The context didn't make it to Bluesky it seems (yet?)
@flancia.org@bsky.brid.gy NodeBB can connect to BlueSky if you follow the bridgyfed user (as you likely did from bsky)

@julian@activitypub.space can NodeBB actually connect to bsky.brid.gy accounts? From citiverse, I was able to follow "bsky.brid.gy_bsky.brid.gy" but not their avatars... Is there a specific procedure for doing this?

@dansup great! I hope someday weâll have re-shared images include alt-text and attributions by default, and this sounds like a good step in that direction

@dansup UI request: ability to move to next (or previous) photo in a series (when viewing one image alone). Maybe via swipe or via arrow buttons
