On someone's recommendation I was willing to go sign up for the new Digg and try it out, but before I even got that far I was looking at some of the links on the homepage and discovered…
Slop summaries are *built into the platform* (the feature is called TLDR complete with sparkle icon), and apparently there's also a generated "podcast" which recaps stories.
Absolutely no chance in hell I'm ever touching that site ever again. Digg is dead to me! 🤪

@jaredwhite tangentially related but the sparkle used to be my favorite emoji - for years! - and these greedy AI overlords have totally ruined it for me now (since it’s come to be associated with AI features). I now shudder whenever I see it on a website

@andreabettini dopo leggo l'articolo. Prima vorrei raccontare questo. Le mucche qui in estate salgono negli alpeggi. Le stalle sono solo dei capannoni dove le mucche vengono rinchiuse la sera per le due mungiture e per proteggerle durante la notte. Le mucche non sono libere nella stalla, sono legate con la testa verso i muri perimetrali in rigoroso ripetuto ordine. Nulla che indichi quale mucca va legata a tale posto piuttosto che due più in là. Il pastore conosce l'ordine e lega ogni mucca al proprio posto. Ma non è il solo a ricordarsi l'ordine, le mucche stesse a distanza di anni si ricordano esattamente il loro posto.

It can be flexing or just sloppiness but I don't think you can cause any damage telling around you work for that company.
