Sorveglianza di massa stataleDopo la denuncia di Snowden nel 2013, ampie porzioni di Internet sono diventate crittografate, consentendo comunicazioni private e sicure. Non tutti hanno accolto con favore questo cambiamento. In particolare, l'FBI e altre agenzie governative statunitensi hanno combattuto quella che viene spesso definita la "guerra delle criptovalute", la guerra alla crittografia. Negli ultimi anni, a loro si è unita la Commissione Europea. Con lo slogan "e i bambini?", cercano di introdurre la sorveglianza di massa totale di tutti i cittadini dell'UE, prima attraverso la proposta di legge sul controllo delle chat e poi attraverso le iniziative Going Dark e ProtectEU.

They're accelerating this stuff. And if you're like "whew, guess I'm glad I'm not in Kansas!"
There are people who *are* in Kansas and not everyone has an easy choice in the matter. And also they're invalidating birth certificates, too, and that's much harder to deal with.
And this is just the prototype. They want to roll this out nationally, and where they can, internationally.
We should all be alarmed.
