Fun thought experiment. Take the fiction trope of a character who can slow or stop time; it almost never addresses the issues with perception this would introduce.Like how does it affect your vision that the photons that bounce off objects into your eye are slowed down? Would everything look redder due to frequency shifts? If it’s stopping or massively slowing time, does this make it hard to see things as you change your line of sight? Would you see at all if photons stopped moving?
