@dillyd I think my brain is trying to trick me into getting up even earlier. Been at 4am since damn time change and lately when I look at clock on other side of room it looks like a little after 4 ... but if I move my head a bit and look again it's really 2 or 3.

About 1-2 years ago, I started waking at 4am. That didn't bother me. I like being up before dawn. The past few months, i started falling asleep, desperately tired, around 8-9, and then waking up at 10, not able to sleep again till 12-1-2-3. This is harder on me because I'm still incapable of sleeping late. -

About 1-2 years ago, I started waking at 4am. That didn't bother me. I like being up before dawn. The past few months, i started falling asleep, desperately tired, around 8-9, and then waking up at 10, not able to sleep again till 12-1-2-3. This is harder on me because I'm still incapable of sleeping late.@dillyd I feel you, same here since several years because of the perimenopause.

This meme-witticism feels true, but it’s a strategy that my brain has never allowed me to effectively implement.(I screenshot it from one of those youtube accounts that just reposts memes without attribution, and can’t figure out its origin. There are a lot of versions of it—i’m guessing it’s a witticism that’s been around for ages, that i’m just discovering.)
