@6al no. Se io ci metto 10t per trovare una risposta, il chatbot ci mette t sbagliando nel 10% dei casi e io ci metto t a verificare la risposta mi conviene usare il chatbot. @aitech

@alex the first issue should be fixed with the latest release. If you open an old post (that was not federated yet), it should default to "Do not federate". Regardless of the default, you can always set "Do not federate" even for new posts!
You can find it in the sidebar of the block editor in the "fediverse" section.

@petealexharris @adriano throw into the mix also the whole «supply chain» bullshit that they tried to push with questionable success through their propaganda machines (sorry, “major tech journals”). Now they're trying to get control of it by making *themselves* an essential part of the supply chain of FLOSS development through their LLM control.

I just want to know that ABC also sucks for other people. Or that BCD sucks in a similar way. Or that, "ABC never worked for me so I switched to LMN"
But some people go like, "Trying to XYZ on ABC is dumb when LMN exists." And the judgement in the reply makes it odious for me. Especially because I most probably tried BCD and LMN but they didn't do everything that ABC does.

@mau@poliversity.it @aitech@feddit.it se non si può escludere che il LMM che si sta usando in un dato momento sia inaffidabile nelle risposte, allora ogni volta che se ne usa uno è necessario verificarne indipendentemente le risposte, quindi le sue risposte (hanno valore semantico nullo, e inoltre) fanno sprecare tempo e risorse 🤷
