  • Today it is immigrants. But if we look at history, we see that these purges never stop at one scapegoated demographic.

Fascists always need an enemy, a target, to retain their power.

During the 1930s and 1940s, Hitler’s regime went after not only Jewish adults, but also (and please correct me in Comments if 1) some of this terminology is incorrect, outdated, harmful or offensive and 2) I missed a group):

    Roma and Sinti

Adults and children with disabilities (physical and mental, neurodivergents included)

    Poles and other Slavic peoples

    Soviet prisoners of war

    Homosexual men

    Jehovah’s Witnesses

Political opponents (e.g., Communists, Social Democrats)

    Trade unionists

    Freemasons

    Black Germans

    Clergy and religious dissenters

People labeled “asocials” (e.g., vagrants, homeless)

Habitual criminals and others deemed “undesirable”

    Atheists

    Jewish children

It’s time to take this seriously.

A che serve questa guerra in Iran? A far aumentare il prezzo del #petrolio. E chi ci guadagna? Yep. That's indeed fascist. No doubt about it! "Under the cover of a looming partial government shutdown and a nation reeling from immigration agent-involved killings, the Department of Homeland Security is quietly supercharging its detention infrastructure.A massive Navy contract vehicle, once valued at $10 billion, has ballooned to a staggering $55 billion ceiling to expedite President Donald Trump’s “mass deportation” agenda. The mechanism for this expansion is the Worldwide Expeditionary Multiple Award Contract (WEXMAC), originally designed for military logistics abroad. In a move to bypass traditional competition delays, the Navy’s Supply Systems Command has repurposed the vehicle for “TITUS”—Territorial Integrity of the United States. This $45 billion increase, published just weeks ago, converts the U.S. into a “geographic region” for expeditionary military-style detention. It signals a massive, long-term escalation in the government’s capacity to pay for detention and deportation logistics. In the world of federal contracting, it is the difference between a temporary surge and a permanent infrastructure."https://migrantinsider.com/p/how-the-pentagon-is-quietly-building #USA #Trump #Immigration #Pentagon #DoD #Detention #ConcentrationCamps

Emory 🩶 (@emory-f8.bsky.social)https://bsky.app/profile/emory-f8.bsky.social/post/3mbrzxit45s25> Did you know? In the Victorian era, the newly created Sears catalogue completely changed society. It allowed people, especially those in isolated rural areas, to order nearly anything by mail, from corsets and mourning dresses to firearms, medical devices, and even coffins. #Victorian #history
