@stephanie Appeasement was undertaken to buy time to rearm.
Due to the memory of the Great War, no prospect of war was popular, but Chamberlain came back from that conference, gave the "peace in our time" speech, and then convened a cabinet meeting where the agenda approximated "there's going to be a war, we have to get ready".
The getting ready part was a notable success.
Canada is not the British Empire and has many fewer options by itself, so the process is necessarily slower.

@Otttoz Ho letto i tuoi post e mi sono piaciuti e continuerò a leggerti. Anche io avevo notato la notizia e mi aveva fatto pensare che Dio c'è, in questo caso la sua precisione, dato che la ragazza è stata investita dopo essere scappata dal centro di recupero dove doveva stare. Non le era andata male, dopo aver ucciso 3 persone non era in galera ma in un centro. Eppure nemmeno lì è voluta stare, come è scappata, come ha rifiutato quel modo di equilibrare la bilancia, zac. Zac, Dio, 3 lettere.

@Otttoz La soluzione sarebbe dire: sciò! ( vai via) ma il problema è che dopo aver sobillato la rivolta si nascondono bene e non sapresti nemmeno a chi dirlo... Così il nuovo dittatore in questo caso è più un sistema di 'nuove amicizie'
