In 2022 most Danish companies left Russia because of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
But Danish insulation manufacturer Rockwool stayed, arguing that closing up shop would mean they lost the factories they have invested in.
To the Rockwool leadership, staying seemed like a good idea… right until today, when Putin decleared that all Rockwool assets in Russia are now being nationalized.
Rock wool loses 4 large factories and likely billions of dollars.
