Why does anyone think we want more he-man and jared leto when we clearly want more queer she-ra?

I get patriarchy and all that, but also, if they want to make money, we've proven so many times that people don't want to see jared leto or prince adam, and we do want more gay, and I would have thought they wanted money more than jared leto, too.

@revoluciana oh. He's not really an actor anyway, but gross. How about no hero movies at all and instead of movies we have revolution? If we all put down our devices(guilty here too) and just employed solidarity as a tactic, we could literally shut it down, or make it so bad that it forces revolution.

Until then, I don't want movies or entertainment, I want open revolt.

@csgraves I just wrote about this recently about how hero stories are often just supremacist wish fulfillment and believe in the myth of the *good king*, and a couple days ago I was reading Ursula K. Le Guin's *Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction* about the whole no heroes thing.
