Have any artists within my fedisphere produced zines to showcase their own artwork? I'd like to see examples and perhaps be inspired to produce something of my own. Physical or digital (though I suppose you'd have to photograph the former)
I would also be happy to see anyone's art books, seeing as I want to produce one of those too... and I suppose they're on the same spectrum!
@jsstaedtler I am moderately sure I've seen at least a couple scroll by in the past, but sadly can't remember who. Boosting your post hoping it finds people with better memory and/or personal experience.

@oblomov Yeah exactly, I know they're out there because I saw them before and didn't do the work back then so I'm asking others to do it for me now

@jsstaedtler I know @JenJen does zines, maybe someone else too?

@jsstaedtler In the Ancient Times I put together a zine which was essentially a short story arc from the comic.
Pretty sure I printed it out for free on a work printer or copy machine, then assembled and stapled it together. I had to figure out how to print the pages to align properly, but hopefully there are templates for that now.

@jsstaedtler Also, this is a great place to start for mini-zine templates: https://www.mirkwork.com/free-zines-to-download

@nickthewright Thank you! I love that one-page template—I'd seen the end result before, but this time I'm saving the directions for my forgetful future self!

Wow! Seeing this post made me remember my own zine that I collaborated on with a friend back in 2002. -

@jsstaedtler I made a couple zines that might fit what you’re looking for.
Spaced Out includes collages I made by hand and brief text to go with each collage. https://mythicaltype.com/2024/12/28/spaced-out-zine.html
Work in Progress is a zine about how I make zines. It includes original drawings and collages. https://mythicaltype.com/2023/10/29/zine-work-in.html

@jsstaedtler @JenJen recently launched a monster zine and @Hika makes art zines too
