I've been quiet, but busy. Still packing, signing and shipping a ton of Cummoner books, also sliding deeper and deeper into my 2025 midlife crisis. Got another bass guitar- an inexpensive 5-string to try out the idea of a wider range.
Also started my journey with linux, which is a rabbit hole. -

Also started my journey with linux, which is a rabbit hole.I decided to try out linux, like many others, because of the ending win10 support (and the fact that my machine can't handle win11). For now I got it on an old laptop and an ext drive on my main PC.
I'm mostly trying out all my usual apps and seeing how much of my workflow can be done in Linux (a lot). It's fairly easy to do, because I draw my comics on an iPad, so the PC always plays more of a supporting role. -

1. lets me appreciate how much I love my fretless flatwound 4-string
2. lets me play Korn basslines (which are kinda insane because Fieldy tunes his bass one tone lower)
3. gives me another octave to jump to while jamming, which is pretty cool.Other than that, it's tough to play.
