EDIT: I thought it was 22 -- the West Bank. But Russia is lower.

@evan Cuba, 10. While I was in Havana, a young Cuban man noticed me reading something, and approached me, mostly to practise his English. He and I were chatting in the street about maple syrup, when a policeman whistled at him, called him over, and then brought him to the station for questioning. Fortunately he left the station after about 30 minutes.

Good news and bad news.
The good news is that I am working on a very heartfelt keynote for Fediverse Day Berlin! I think it contextualizes why our work matters in a way that I think will resonate with people.
But the bad news is... I will not be there in person. :( I'm really sorry, some last minute things came up. I know a lot of people were hoping to see me.
I'll be participating remotely in a live Q&A. I know it's not the same though. I'm sorry again, wish I were there. 💜

@floreana post-edit comment: see, that's your problem, you should be using the US International layout with dead keys ;-)
(I joke, you should use whatever you feel most comfortable with, but US Intl has all accent and diacritics available via composition and dead keys. One layout to rule them all.)
If you have a Compose key enabled, compose e = should give you the € symbol. Otherwise, you'll need to enable the eurosign:e option for the keyboard layout (not sure how it's done via GUI)

uBlock Origin but it's a filtering rule system for webpages that works like Mastodon's filters:

You set up a keyword/regex and urFiltrZ replaces or hides the element(s) that have it. And you can choose to affect any amount of parent elements.
The first keyword I would filter is "podcast", closely followed by "discord", then "republican" and "democrat"...

@floreana depends on the keyboard layout you have configured. Try AltGr+5 (Ctrl+Alt+5) too.
