@DO1HMN we have a mayor and a city council. We also have borough mayors and some borough councils. I voted last week in early voting; I had 4 positions to vote for.

@evan fingers crossed that people get elected who'll move the city forward! Maybe I'll watch canadian news tonight (or maybe better tomorrow morning - we are 6 hours ahead of Montreal 🤔)
Our election day here in Kassel will be march 15th next year -

Our election day here in Kassel will be march 15th next year@DO1HMN fingers crossed! Our city government has been extremely progressive for the last decade under our previous mayor, and I am hopeful that a progressive party wins.

One of my fave #stm #Montreal metro changes has been the adding, on the floor at exit doors, of cardinal direction circles, with arrows showing directions to closest city streets.
