The Facehugger:
Can move in a radius of 2 tiles. Cannot take pieces. Instead it infects a piece and the facehugger gets taken out from the game. Next time the infected piece is used or tried to be taken out. It turns into a xenomorph which can move in any pattern but only directly to a piece closest to it. (friend or foe alike) -

@tinyfrights @selzero alternative: limited range, but can capture any single piece within range, in any direction. Standard range is 3, but the Archer can climb onto a tower to increase the range to 5.

@selzero The “Investigative Journalist”. If it ends up adjacent to a bishop the piece is removed on paedophilia charges but if the IJ piece is taken by a king or queen piece then the bishop is returned to the board.

@selzero the cursor wrapper : can move off any edge of the board forward, backward, sidewards, or diagonally and return from the opposite side to capture pieces or occupy squares so long as no other piece is in the way

@beemoh this also introduces the piece "The Paperclip" which is unplayable, just blocks off a 3x3 area of the board that is out of play for 3 turns.

@beemoh @selzero The Autocorrect. Moves like a pawn, except that instead of capturing a piece, it degrades it. So bishop to pawn, knight to bishop, rook to knight, queen to rook and king to queen. Pawns are turned into kings. The Autocorrect itself is then taken from the field.
Reading this, you’d get a cross between chess and Uno 😄

I just heard that a former classmate of mine passed away. He had a difficult life, he had lost his entire family and, unfortunately, had serious drug and alcohol problems since he was very young. At one point, the situation seemed to have improved, he was working passionately in his business but... I believe that negative spiral had never really left him.
A few months ago my parents saw him and didn't recognize him, he looked like a little old man even though he was about my age. So the news, although terrible, doesn't come as a complete surprise.
What's truly beyond belief, on social media, are the people claiming the vaccine killed him. And I'll stop right there.

No matter which server you are on, all replies to all discussion threads are automatically fetched as soon as you browse a discussion. It doesn't matter which server you are on or which server they are on, you will all see the same complete discussion. (Unless a user or server is banned of course.)
