    Come si cambia per non morire... cantava Fiorella #Mannoia. Ho sempre avuto una certa paura del #cambiamento, ma a volte è necessario. E così ho cambiato #istanza per la semplicità e perché no? per i 5000 caratteri dei post (che probabilmente mai userò comunque), ma anche perché, mi sembra, più vicina al mio modo di essere: sono un programmatore (un po' #misantropo ma non troppissimo) con la passione per #linux e in particolare per #debian. Non sono un #nerd, ma semplicemente un #curioso di ogni aspetto dell' #informatica ed in particolare del #softwarelibero. sono molto ma molto scettico invece sulla #IA.Amo tutto ciò che riguarda la #montagna, il #motociclismo su strada (proprietario di una #SuzukiGladius del 2015), Genova e il #Genoa e ho una passione per le opere di Peter #Bruegel il Vecchio di cui l' immagine del profilo, di copertina e per conseguenza il nickname.Tutto qui.Un saluto a tutto il #fediverso.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WYTtZVo0UY

    I'm using #Debian13 with #GNOME 48 since August (coming from #xfce). I summarized my GNOME setup on https://karl-voit.at/Gnome-Setup/At the end, I also summarize all the issues I've got with #GNOME48.IMO, it's far from production ready, when it comes to multi-monitor and multi-user setups despite being probably the most widely used #Linux desktop environment (got any source?).I'm testing #KDE in the upcoming weeks. I'll publish a KDE setup article similar to the one about GNOME in future as well.#publicvoit

    Just a few days ago a #multikernel architecture was proposed for #Linux kernel. Separate from that proposal from #MultikernelTechnologies, it turns out #Bytedance has been working on their own solution called #Parker. Today Bytedance lifted the lid on Parker as their solution for running multiple kernels simultaneously on the same hardware/system.It looks like several firms are now pursuing multi-kernel experiments for better dealing with today's high core count systems https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-Parker-Proposal
