Positive update on #ChatControl. The EU's member states are set to officially agree to delete forced mass scanning orders (which could undermine encryption) this week!
This puts the protection of civil liberties in a much better situation for final negotiations with the EU Parliament.
However, it doesn't mean that all the proposal's issues have been solved - we're especially worried about the threat of forcing message apps, email services and app stores to perform risky age verification.

If it’s good, then everything is fine.From the looks, I would say it’s more a cake than a Strudel:
Pastry with Apple inside = strudel
Shortcrust pastry with Apple on top = cakeBut I am sure someone from Austria will come around the corner and slap me for this simplification. 😅
Again, if you like it, it is fine.
But there are better Strudels out there…

ciao, intanto grazie della risposta dettagliata, ho letto con interesse.
c'è una cosa però su cui sono in disaccordo: l'avere autonomia nel gestirsi non significa "individualismo". Per me è un principio di responsabilità personale; mentre nel social commerciale deleghiamo la creazione dello spazio all'algoritmo e alle inserzioni, qui ce lo creiamo noi, ed è comunque uno spazio collettivo, non individuale, dove però ciascuno si autogestisce. Mi pare un ottimo principio anarchico.
Rispetto al chiedere "cosa ti farebbe stare meglio?", su Mastodon e sul fediverso si può fare ed è giusto farlo; sui social commerciali una domanda del genere non può esistere perché non c'è alcuno spazio di manovra.
