Alas, I got busy with commercial an artist neon fabrication jobs again, so I had to pause a little on the personal projects.
We again lost our CNC person at work and now, the new CNC person will be.... ME! I am quite excited to be learning and told my boss I would like to teach others and be just one CNC person rather than the "CNC guy"- I like to go on vacations an road trips.
I have lots of CNC projects AND the CNC takes practice so to build my skills I have top make some personal projects :) With my newfound CNC abilities, I have become interested in watching videos of people making acrylic channel letters. I even gave it a go with some of my torches. Gosh its gonna be fun to put neon in these! I think I am gonna make the word "antifa" in a script krypton (white lightning) crackle tube- an put it in this (or my second or third) acrylic channel letter.Hooray for scraps!

It still fucks me up knowing that our body can tell when we're breathing co2, but not when we're breathing too little oxygen.
You can be in a room full of any odorless gas that isn't oxygen and just fucking die. Asphyxiation and you don't feel a thing cuz your brain's like "no co2, I don't see a probl-" 😴😵

Fresh Figs for dinner, possibly followed by vanilla bean ice cream. There was other food today, but I don't recall, oh there was a mini It's It ice cream sandwich for brunch, and Propel electrolytes with reverse osmosis water (daily routine).
Fig season is as critical as strawberry season; so thanks to Mutti for the lovely farm produce — what would I do without you? 💖

@rrika the last time I tried to install KDE on a system that already had gnome installed on it, it took out my audio. however, this was in the distant past, the year 2023

aaaaaa, multitouch gestures work properly in krita now, and KDE doesn't assume that no application could ever possibly want to use three+ touch points for anything. this is wonderful!
EDIT: I spoke too soon, KDE has a 3 finger touch gesture that does bad things if you have multiple monitors active (or I just didn't trip it somehow)
EDIT2: turning off KDE's "overview" desktop effect seems to be a viable workaround for allowing other applications to use their own 3+ finger gestures
