https://joinloops.org/join-the-beta@dansup This is super exciting! Are you also working in any tooling/language that incites/allows people to sign up on instances other than the flagship one? The biggest problem facing Mastodon today, for example, is a high overcrowding of mastodon.social, which deeply harms the capacity for federated moderation load and healthy community-building. It’d be good to solve that problem early!

@RadicalEcologist @Tutanota that used to be my setup as well, but it turned out to be too brittle, especially with multiple family members and devices. I got fed up with having to resolve sync conflicts manually frequently because the files were modified at different locations but syncthing was suspended and the changes did not propagate. I've moved to Proton Pass now and don't regret it.
