chipStar is a compilation tool/runtime for porting CUDA/HIP applications on OpenCL/SPIR-V-capable platforms. Its origin is in the HIPCL "prototype" developed within my research group mainly by Michal Babej. Then refined to chipStar in close collab with Argonne, Intel and Paulius Velesko (PGLC) among others. #opencl #spirv #cuda #ijhpca

@pekka nice! I've been looking forward to this for literally years,
and even put that in writing <https://doi.org/10.1002/cpe.8313> ;-)
Now I have to find some time to test it out and possibly build a GPUSPH backend for it.(BTW the article itself seems to not be open access, is there a preprint accessible somewhere?)

sì, lo farò appena possibile, purtroppo ho il giorno libero di venerdì, proprio il giorno in cui l'ufficio anagrafe è chiuso al pubblico. In ogni caso abito in un piccolo comune in cui gli uffici del comune sono abbastanza efficienti.

Nothing revolutionary, but I would be sure to rotate acetaminophen and ibuprofen on a 3 hour cycle (typically the bottle will say to take each every six hours). That way you’re not crashing at any point during the day. I was a (terrible) pharmacy tech for a period, and this is what the pharmacist would recommend. Just don’t exceed the maximum daily dose of each and you’ll be fine!
