Javascript user for many years -- but only recently a convert. Turns out, if you ignore the modern development practices weighing the whole ecosystem down and just focus on using the core language, it's not too bad! That, or the part of my brain that's supposed to be responsible for registering pain and danger is just competely burned out now.
