Last Time We Were There
In September 2014 we first visited this lovely town and the sun smiled that day.
Surrounded by wonderful mountains, this place used to be closed for months by winter ice. Now roads have connected Westfjords to the rest of the country and travelling by boat isn't the only option.
Ísafjörður¹ at 66.06° north, literally the "Fjord of Ice" in north-western #Iceland
We'll be there next Sunday.

she's fine!
She is used to sleep with us since she was a kitten, so we are graciously allowed the bed. It's also very convenient for her to keep me at hand and wake me up when she feels a little peckish in the morning. :D
