I switched to the "Fedora Cinnamon Spin" and everything is ok now.

I switched to the "Fedora Cinnamon Spin" and everything is ok now. All of my Wayland problems have been decisively solved, because Cinnamon just happens to support highdpi fractional resolution scaling with xorg <3
Even better, my multitouch virtual midi keyboard actually receives all touch events under Cinnamon, so this basically resolves all of my current Linux woes.

@aeva seems it's never not wayland. I tried to do vr in linux, half a day later, ended up switching to x11
