@thordis Fediverse DOES have a network of smaller Gen Z servers
but they tend to be Queer or Furry focused. and occasionally Game Development
they are also quite insular for valid reasons, and I'm certainly not going to list a bunch so everyone can go bother their users
but they are with us. you just need to move in the correct circles and they will pop up to make you feel ancient

It's a bit ridiculous calling myself a "boomer" given that I was still in kindergarten when the Beatles broke up and I share none of their growing-up experiences, but marketers love oversimplifying things. 🤷

I keep getting surprised when I notice yet another co-cohort or older human. Not that one always can tell, but on previous social media I kept getting the impression that most of the folk I knew were a couple of decades younger.@hypostase @thordis Boomer here 🤚

@Walrus Just age groups. But you're right, it's not very diverse in terms of species. (Although I am very happy to be currently seeing quite a lot of cats.)

@steek_hutzee suppongo che il ragionamento sia: se dall'auto verde vedo la rossa che mi taglia la strada, devo fare di tutto per evitarla, se no è colpa mia. Se invece non faccio in tempo a vederla perché è più indietro del mio punto di osservazione, la colpa è sua perché mi ha visto e non è riuscito a evitarmi. Credo che in certi casi, come questo, la regola della precedenza a destra non conti.
Ma sono mie illazioni. Non conosco nel dettaglio l'argomento. È quello che mi disse l'assicuratore.
