the extra fun thing is that this conversation im subposting is one of the major drivers of protocol divergence, but the process is so highly illegible that even me writing articles about it will not actually get the point across properly for people

@_elena success on microblogging feeds is strongly determinted by if people reading your posts understand you to be part of their ingroup, and the strange and funny thing is that having only reverse chronological feeds or having algorithmic feeds turns out to have surprisingly little impact on that
