@Viss Knew a young man who survived giloma w/surgery, gamma knife & chemotherapy at the Huntsman Cancer Center in SLC. He asked for a biopsy sample as a souvenir and was told that was not possible because they had been sliced and sent to labs worldwide wide. No one his age, late 20s, had survived so long. Lost touch & do not know his current status. It was centered at the crossing of the optic nerves.

of course, "pitas" in greece are like omelettes, i.e. a great way to get rid of almost anything you have in the fridge. they call them based on ingredients, listing them all like the germans. i gave up at one point and started calling my partner's various meals "miscopitas" (miscellaneous pita).

@neurovagrant but honestly just hanging out and being chill is payment enough. the stupid plague ruined tons of shit, and its a challenge going out anywhere now - everyone on the roads has covid brain and prices for shit are skyrocketing, so we're getting really good at this sorta 'inadvertently running a combination bed and breakfast / tiny cafe flirting with a michellin star' sorta spot. it would be fun to plate shit all fancy as an homage to chef jacuqes la mierde
