Until now, my father has been paying nearly $50 a month for SoftBank's fiber-optic internet.
Even though it was so expensive, the ONU that SoftBank provides isn't an integrated router, so a bunch of machines in my dad's bedroom were giving off heat and light. He hated that.
So I suggested he switch to SONY's fiber optic service (which is half the monthly price of SoftBank) and decided to pay for it myself with my credit card.
I did a really good thing for my parents. It ended up saving our household about $800. -
