How we start is how we finish. If we start with a private group of designers who are growth-centric and feel competitive with monoliths then we can no longer be surprised when we end up with one Huge Unmoderated Node that soaks the energy out of the rest of the network. -

If we start with a private group of designers who are growth-centric and feel competitive with monoliths then we can no longer be surprised when we end up with one Huge Unmoderated Node that soaks the energy out of the rest of the network.Protocols and code to link together a handful of big scalable nodes hosted on rich people's infrastructure are fundamentally different than protocols and code necessary to grow a global mesh of many thousands of locally hosted community nodes.
