I'm reading about Republicans choosing to starve children even when Democrats offer them an absurdly generous compromise (because of course Schumer gives an inch and then a mile, without hesitation), Elon Musk (who is directly responsible for 600,000 deaths, mostly children) getting a trillion dollar pay package, ChatGPT and Grok talking children into suicide, social media algorithms elevating dehumanization.

@scuttlebutt all of the release valves that would allow this to resolve peacefully and reasonably are being closed off by literal armies in the streets, a Supreme Court that serves Trump, and a ruling party that worships death and suffering. What are people supposed to do? Hungry people do desperate things.
