My instincts about what building a computer costs is WAY off due to crazy RAM and GPU prices. I wish I'd spent the money on more RAM when I was updating this machine a few months ago. I bought 64GB DDR5 for $385 and I was mad about it. Same model today is $1110. I also should have upgraded my GPU at the same time, but I figured it was two years newer than everything else, so it could wait a while. After all, computer parts always get cheaper and faster, right?

Linux question:
When I go to the output folder of my website and I search for all files with "linkdump-no-*" in the path, which are numbered from 1 through 89, and then I sort this list, the output is ordered, but 10 and 11 appear between 7 and 8, see screenshot. The rest is sorted correctly.
Any idea why sorting fails like this?

Heads-up: if you use gurk-rs, a Signal client for the terminal, you should update it to either the commit done an hour ago or to version 0.8.1 once it is out. It fixes missing incoming messages due to missing trusted roots

3) Audio response still needs work. Need to EQ before auto-gain (or fixed dynamic range with no auto-gain) to tame bass level but give natural response where louder parts make particles react more than quieter.
4) Feels like bass should affect sim large low freq positional offsets, mid range and highs work nicely when the timer cycle causes higher freq position offsets.
