I have a blue collar friend who listens to podcasts all day. It’s wall to wall culture war content and he’s easily the least happy person I know.
The thing is I have another friend, same situation but he listens to CBC and NPR shows, still a decent amount of focus on the culture war but he’s a really popular happy guy, involved in the community etc.
Given regulations aren’t getting passed anytime soon, the media you choose to consume does come down to personal responsibly. -
