My server’s mods decided to not bridge to bsky anymore.
Honestly don’t like this decision being made for me. I decided I want to be there and if I can’t deal with the kinds of accounts that interact with me I can un-bridge. Anyone who was never bridged is invisible to bsky accounts.

I get that it is also a statement but on an individual level it’s a loss for me. I’m unable to even post an update through the bridge to any followers I have over there that I’m gone 😩

Maybe that’s my privilege speaking but I have not had issues with bsky users so far and had the feeling that I’m very much capable of steering what parts of it I see and what not.

I guess I’m not wanting to be on bsky enough to create a native account there or to change servers to start anew through the bridge but I still don’t like it 😢
