Charcoal and candies
socks filled up and stretched
mom's memories(I feel I did this haiku and explanation already but mastodon search sucks)
The #Befana is an old lady who brings sweets to good kids on January 6th.
If you've been bad, you'll get charcoal.
You put out actual socks (generally your parents' larger ones) to be filled.These days it's a minor holiday, but it was more important than Xmas a generation ago in Rome.
I still do it for my family.
