I got some bad news today. Or rather, I got no news at all, and that's the bad news, particularly in light of things I saw with my own eyes. But then again, when you think about it, the bad news is also kind of good news. Things didn't go the way I wanted, but they went exactly the way I expected them to. Meaning, they turned out worse than I'd hoped, but this outcome confirmed a suspicion I had. And so, it means I was right. Therefore, the bad news of today - confirmed by a lack of news - is actually what proves I was right all along.
Which maybe makes the bad news... good news?

@TazPoltorak I'd be quite wary of polar fleece (and synthetic wadding) melting at oven temperatures
if you have some wool scraps they may work instead of the thermo insulation, but maybe you'd need a bigger thinkness, and with cotton you'd definitely need more than either.

@andre123 per i regali aggiungerei un consiglio: prima di regalare una stilografica indagate su come il destinatario preferisce scrivere: regalare un pennarello a chi scrive microfilm, o uno spillo a chi vuole vedere il colore dell'inchiostro che usa, sono buoni metodi per rischiare che la penna finisca nel cassetto.
Le opinioni forti sulle dimensioni delle penne invece credo che siano una cosa più da chi già usa le stilografiche (o da chi ha problemi di varia natura alle mani), però nel dubbio eviterei le misure estreme e starei più sulle vie di mezzo, sempre per evitare il cassetto.

Sono i pannelli in CORTEN ovvero acciaio che si arruginisce in superficie ma non va oltre.
I writer secondo me li odiano, prenderebbero tanta vernice.

@futurebird the problem is that lending (money or anything else for that matter) *is* a service that people need, and as such it deserves compensation. What's interesting is that it has been known for millenia how easy it is to abuse, which is why e.g. some religious texts include rules that either prohibit or severely restricts lending on interest.
