Jesus, quite a seasonal flue, or COVID, or whatever I caught. 40C fever, shivering, you name it. On the brighter side, while waiting for the occasional pill(s) to kick in there is enough dedicated reading time. In a few days I’ve almost finished “The fabulous riverboat”, the second “Riverworld” series book. I totally ignored it before, silly so! Mark Twain is such a better protagonist, the book is smarter too.
The kinds of waking dreams the high-fever mind produces are impressive. The last time I got stuck in akin intoxication-induced psychedelic loop was back in the uni, 2012, when I also got a pretty bad flue against the backdrop of reading #AGoT and prepping for some interface science exam .

oldest kid is sick. i want to set him up on an audiobook. we bought a kindle fire for kid content. it’s set up using my amazon account. i have an audible subscription.
problem: the tablet is set to my amazon (US) account. i cannot for the life of me get it to sign into my amazon (Canada) account.
no one involved in making this device ever thought this was possible
