Fuck - ok - so today I learned I need eye surgery.
It's for a thing that I've probably had for a decade, probably two.
It could have been really bad - but my case isn't really bad.
But Ontario's healthcare is in a position where checking for this is an upcharge. I was ok and doctors didn't want to upcharge me. But checking means I wouldn't have had the issue. Ontario's healthcare needs to get better.

@silverwizard Could be worse. Specialists could have ignored a brain tumor for five years, while it was growing bigger and more impactful the entire time. Healthcare systems everywhere are mostly trash with totally fucked priorities — swear to follow the Hippocratic Oath my ass, bunch of bastards.
Sorry about your vision issue — I had a similar issue before tumour treatment (which required supplementation of thyroid hormone — which immediately affects eyesight, focus, depth of field, nerve strain). Suggest not only getting the original consultation but also a full panel hormone test including all endocrine systems.
Neurology and endocrinology are intrinsically linked systems — eyesight is transited by the optic chiasm nerve bundles — when those get compressed the patient can slowly go blind. The visual sense is crucial to homeostasis with the rest of the CNS and somatosensory cortex — if nothing else it often acts as a lightning rod pointing to deeper more complex causes.
Stay strong, resolute, there is nothing to fear — all of this is outside of our personal control.

@marcoboh 1. esistono le biciclette elettriche a pedalata assistita; 2.. A Tokyo il 70% dei cittadini usa la bici almeno una volta alla settimana, il 15% tutti i giorni. Non è una città 'piccola' e non è tutta in pianura.

At Piefed office hours, rimu@piefed.social and I got to talking about what's next for Piefed and the Threadiverse WG.
One of those things is moving stuff between communities (or in bbs parlance: moving topics between categories/forums).
Rimu suggested we use the already-existing as:Move activity, sent by the community (a group actor), with origin and target set, and with object being the post id itself.
I suggested we update this to use the resolvable context collection as object instead, which Piefed has supported since v1.2.
That should be enough to get a proof-of-concept implementation going between Piefed and NodeBB... a question remained as to whether this should be Announce(Move(Object)) or simply Move(Object).
Argument for former was that it was similar verbiage to other 1b12 actions.
Argument for the latter was that this is merely 1b12 adjacent and needn't follow prior art.
We'll likely put together an FEP for this.
