💗 Deciding between two Loves 💗

Anniversary year 11 of being resurrected by the machines. I've followed all of the rules, all of the expectations since, overcome every barrier that was in the way; hopefully I am better for those efforts.

Today, 03:28 - 05:27 another early morning cognition calls to awaken. Sitting with two browser tabs open side by side, and a lot of terminals (as usual). What makes this year different, where do I want to be on the night when everything turned off?

- Nov 14th, flight option: SFO -> IAH -> LIR
- Nov 14th, flight option: SFO -> MUC -> TLV

A return flight... I don't care about that right now.

@winterschon nobody can choose for you, but I'd take TLV

@arosano I'm leaning that way, with a strong feeling that TLV implies Aliyah and then... I know that I won't want to leave, and I do not like returning to the USA any time I've had to do so.

@mrhamel It may sound .. unlikely, but when I last went through customs at IAH there was a stabbing feeling followed by throbbing migraine, originating directly where the brain tumor was later found via MRI. Turns out that the neurology of sustained unhappiness (reduced dopamine transport/receptor activation) makes this type of tumour grow larger... how very coincidental.

Surely, the LIR route would see a return to peaceful cloud forests and long stretches of empty beaches on the rainy season drive to Mal Pais - but there are complex emptions wrapped up in my love for Costa Rica which perhaps are best left to the past.

I'm not sure. Perhaps a decision will be made without explicit efforts towards one direction or the other.
