This is not my story.

This is not my story. I do not have all the details except what I have been told.
I have a childhood friend, much smarter than I, but with perhaps even less resources than I had when we were growing up.
Like many many many and many more boricuas my friend found that his way to go anywhere was to join the USian armed forces.
Perhaps one of the main reasons we remain a colony of USia, and are granted USia citizenship is that the island is an everspring of recruits.

In 1946 Italy send workers to Belgium, bartering 200 kg of coal a day for every worker.
