I'm in this weird situation professionally where I've gone into research and I really enjoy it, but I don't have a degree which means future options are limited to research places that value industry experience and prior publications.
That really limits my options, but also, I'm suspect the longer I'm in research, the more distant that makes me from game dev hiring, at least with some companies. Sort of walking into a trap / dead end, but enjoying it 😂
