Sometimes I get replies that make me question whether I am writing correct English or what. Then, some other times, I read the replies to other people's toots and... My goodness.
Some people really don't seem to read what is written, but whatever bias and preconceived notions they already had in their mind. It is both interesting and unnerving. It gives me a sense that not all people are entirely connected to an objective reality.
And I wonder if I do the same.

I am still wondering what the American War of Succession was. No, it wasn't a typo for Secession, I asked and they insisted they meant to says Succession. (From context somewhere in the US was meant, so it wasn't about some South American deal.)

@afreytes for what it's worth, the only times I can't really understand your posts is when my high school Spanish classes from 20+ years ago are insufficient for me to translate 😅

@karaksindru You should NOT feel bad if you can't understand my Spanish. Whenever I write in Spanish it is often very heavily localized wording from Boricua culture.

@afreytes I think we must all do it to some extent. Language as a whole is huge and terrifying, I'm surprised I can somehow communicate anything somedays, much less decipher the intent of others.
I don't talk out loud that much, but I don't think that makes me any better or worse at it.
I've caught myself doing it a few times though, it's something for me to be mindful about, and I've found often it can happen when I essentially agree with the other person but get stuck on details and mood

@robinp it was just an emergency measure, while the provider connected the KVM interface to debug it. Those bare metals just run jails, so no problems (except for some performance and resources waste, but it can be done for some hours).
One hour later they gave me the KVM console and it's back to normal operations.
