@afreytes I mean, Alien as well. I'd heard that the rest of the cast wasn't told what all to expect from the chestburster scene in the mess hall in advance, so their reactions were more genuine.

@grim_elsewhere I do like Alien as well, but I feel Aliens is the better film.
I really like that (although some may call it pandering) the feminine characters are so strong!
Like, in the first Alien, you could mistake Ripley for a "final girl"
But there's not one single minute in Aliens where you think "oh shit Ripley don't got this!" and it's just a matter of telling an interesting environmental story where the right person overcomes stacked risks and looks cool doing it.
