someone showed me how to get an rss feed for my posts under a specific tag and this seems promising for embedding that https://github.com/shevett/rss/blob/main/rss.js

okay well cross origin nonsense means i can't fetch the rss feed and none of the fedi feed generators allow you to specify a hashtag, it'll only do your whole profile, so this sucks :/

i can get the hashtag feed via the mastodon api i guess, but there's no way to filter it by author that i can see

In elementary school, one of my classmates was hit by a car on his bicycle. He must have been about 9. His head went through the windshield.
He was fine.
The windshield was not fine. His helmet was not fine. The teacher had him bring in his mangled helmet to show the whole class. Nobody had to tell us he’d be dead if it weren’t for the helmet. It was obvious.
I still remember this vividly 40 years later.
I wear a helmet.
