like i'm not planning to do it but i've often wondered how that would work. like, it should be possible, right? we have freedom of movement
but also they want you to register if you stay longer than 3 months. so how does that work?

@eniko sounds like a fun time bound to happen when it'll come to taxes. I'm curious to see what would be the solutions but oh boy the taxes.

@Ronflaix well i'm pretty sure your tax home would be the place you spend 8 months in
but yeah given you have to register for residency... have fun explaining to that government that yes you're resident but no actually you don't owe taxes cause you owe them to the elsewhere you live 2/3rds of the year

i mean the real answer is "live in the country 4 months out of the year, don't register, nobody gives a shit" and that's what i figure most people do (especially given i live in cyprus where many people live more than 3 months out of the year without registering and nobody cares)
but like. there has to be an *intended* answer, right?
