I’ve never tried a trackball. How efficient are they compared to mice?
As in, are tasks like selecting a range of text much slower to do? How about first-person camera aiming? Trackpads for example are at least 2x worse at both.

@jonikorpi I think for day to day use they are just as good after you get used to them. For first person aiming they’re kinda funky; they’re slower for flick movements but they are more precise.

@jonikorpi there also is a huge difference in feel with trackballs that u use with ur thumb (see: Elecom Huge) and ones you use with your index finger (like the trackman marble). I can recommend both of these

@jonikorpi i find they're more ergonomic and reasonably accurate with practice, but a mouse is going to be more precise and quick
