@torgo great films indeed. If I had access to Turner Classic Movies here in Paris, I'd be watching them every night.
P.S.: my favorite Hitchcock films are North by Northwest and Vertigo. Still so good after all these years

This week we've been doing Hitchcock. Dial M for Murder (1954), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) and last night was the 39 Steps (1935). I'd forgotten how good these are. The first two are available on BBC iPlayer right now.

Scott Adams is dead.
I’m not going to cheer for his death, but I will say this: he is one of many contributors to the corrosiveness of US politics.
The racism, sexism, etc. that have eaten away at the foundations of America, perhaps even the West as a whole, and made it socially acceptable to be openly hateful again, and face minimal social consequences.
Sure they took down his comic for it. It doesn’t matter. The damage is done. I guarantee in this administration, he would not have had his comic pulled.
May he join Dick Cheney and Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan in Hell.

@valhalla nel frattempo mi hanno soppresso un treno e quello dopo é un ritardo di 20'. E passano per Gallarate. Sarà un caso? Io non credo.

@LaVi invece il treno dopo è arrivato a grandate praticamente in orario, e dovrebbe essere appena arrivato a Borghi con meno di 5 minuti di ritardo (a Camerlata erano 4)
ora vediamo se ce la fa ad affrontare la Discesa
