So when my nephew was born, I went to a baby store, and lo and behold they had this giant centipede with a funky crunchy texture. Best baby present ever! It's been on my desk ever since...my bad, I should have gone for something more cheerful like the virus

1. Reading about them in a *Smithsonian* magazine.
2. Seeing stats for them (in giant forms) in *Dragon* magazine for #DungeonsAndDragons likely inspired by the same article.
