@xvln mastodon.art has defederated a bunch of servers over time, I moved servers last year because I wanted to keep connections with people there (among other things)

@gabrielesvelto yeah... i dont really want to move servers. at least not until i actually have a gallery website up (right now mastodon is one of the most convenient places to see my art, and while mastodon.art doesn't have my full portfolio (as xvln), it's close), but i've been procrastinating that for a long time >.>

@elettrona @aitech quando nel 1982 ho cominciatp l'università (matematica :-) ) c'era il boom delle iscrizioni a informatica, ma era un boom relativo allo stato stagnante delle materie STEM. Per dire, ci saranno state 800 matricole a informatica a Pisa contro 80 a matematica (che sono rimaste poi un quarto, ma questa è un'altra storia).
Secondo me la "generazione di mezzo" è quella dei nati tra il 1970 e il 1990 a tenersi larghi. Prima e dopo ci sono solo le eccezioni.
