It's a real profession, helping coppers and all that, but I can tell where the video is going and no, I wouldn't watch it either.

This is hilarious, but in all seriousness, they can do things like find out if the ground has been disturbed, i.e., the presence of unmarked graves. I know geologists who are strong believers in Bigfoot. -

Actual forensic geology is things like "That was an earthquake, not a bomb."
But I suspect that was the infamous pseudoscientist Scott Wolter, who pretends to be a forensic geologist with a masters from the University of Minnesota.
Wolter never got such a degree, nor does the U offer one. He did a general geology undergrad degree and played college football.
