Which account? There's no link, and a search only takes me to the domain, on which there's no "Block" option. 🤷🏽♂️ -
@Viss replies to this to the effect of “teh government can still spy on you hurr durr” are not wise. It’s the principle people. Come on. If you have friends on a Nazi site you may want to consider why you associate with them.

"we will continue to have these meetings every single day until we figure out why no one is getting any work done"...

@Viss Yep. It's been fixed in the expansion due it a bit. Kind of a mystery as to why it's happening.

@grumpygamer if i was handier in a memory debugger I could probably tell you, but i have a list as long as my arm of security nerds who are absolute wizards in a debugger that might be able to help, if you'd like me to push that button

@Viss Thanks, that it has death with. It's a bug in the Dinky compiler, not to game itself.

I felt very welcomed when I first got here, November ‘22. This contributed greatly to me sticking around. Think the first things I did here was observing people getting excited about advent of code, and joining them.
Also #HashtagGames. And #Monsterdon. I kept missing movies but really just enjoyed following the general mischief on that hashtag.
I guess what I’m saying is that I agree with you and am proof positive that people stick around when they’re feeling welcomed.

@Viss not if they have posted 10 things and in each and every one of these things they are being an annoying reply spam bot i am sorry.

Cargo cult management.

@Viss wasn't bluesky advertised as fediverse when it was coming out? Isn't it not operable if the company shuts down? Its built on lies, why would anyone expect morals?

@Kow popularity. more followers. blue checkmarks. the old creature comforts of twitter. being popular. having a wider audience. being exposed to brands.

@Viss I was under the impression the bridge was entirely third party?
What's the concern in this scenario, about them "just fucking changing their mind" (which they absolutely do) considering this?
EDIT: In case this comes across as the shitty "concern" kind of post, that's absolutely not my goal, I'm genuinely trying to assert the risk for my instance

@Viss I blocked the entire domain tbh.

@mr_daemon @Viss It's a third-party open-source thing run by two people. See https://fed.brid.gy/docs#who
(Link is to the relevant section of the very long documentation page.)
